Retail and office tenants often assume a failed storefront means days of plywood and lost foot traffic. It does not have to. With the right sequence, most commercial storefront replacements happen in a single overnight or weekend window.
Measure and order before you demo
The long pole in any glass job is fabrication, not installation. We field-measure the existing openings, confirm glass make-up and framing finish, and place the order while your doors stay open. Nothing gets removed until the replacement units are on site and inspected.
Work in the off hours
Aluminum storefront framing and insulated glass units can be swapped after close and be watertight before you open. For larger elevations we phase the work opening by opening, keeping the entrance and the majority of the glass line intact each day.
Plan for the inspection
Safety glazing, egress hardware, and energy-code compliance are the three items that stall a final sign-off. We flag them during the estimate so the permit, the glass specification, and the hardware all line up before the crew mobilizes.
